Some people say business cards are the most important piece of collateral. I say it plays exactly the part it needs to for a particular marketing strategy. If you’re a salesman speaking and meeting directly with potential leads and clients, then sure, business cards are important. If your business runs off 10 major clients and you don’t even think a marketing department is necessary, then your time is better spent maintaining your current relationships rather than making a business card you’ll never hand out. Moral of the story is, while business cards are cheap and easy, their value is measurable.
On side note, most of the business cards I make don’t look this good. Most of the time a creative business card isn’t the right choice and something more dull or average is a better fit for their industry. But when I do get somebody looking for something more creative, it sure becomes more interesting!
